Are you planning to visit Singapore with your little one? You might want to know the most remarkable places to visit for them to enjoy. Apart from the usual theme parks and attractions, Singapore has many more to offer children. Here’s a list to get started:
Port of Lost Wonder (PLW)
This is the first kids’ club by the beach in Singapore, featuring five areas – the Pirate Ship, Curiosity Island, Celebration Island, The Deck, and Hatch Patch. Young explorers don’t only enjoy the experience, but learn how to manage their finances with curio coins. The curios are the official pass to PLW activities and surprise snacks. Its birthday party packages are available if you’re looking for a unique kids’ party venue, as well.
Skyline Luge Sentosa
This attraction is ideal for all ages. All you need is to ride the Skyline that gives a panoramic tree-trop view, while taking you up to Imbiah Lookout. At the top, it’s your choice whether to ride the Luge and brace the downhill trails or go straight to 4D Adventure Land.
As the first in Southeast Asia, the Luge allows you and your kids to race down Dragon Trail (688 metres) or Jungle Trail (628 metres) with a braking and steering system. For round two, you can ride the Skyline again. The 4D Adventure Land features three 4D shows – The Pirates, Extreme Log Simulation Ride, and Desperados Interactive Shoot-Out – which are similar to those you can find at Universal Studios.
Butterfly Park and Insect Kingdom
This features about 50 species of 15,000 live butterflies and 3,000 species of insects. Visit the Butterfly Aviary to interact with butterflies up close or go to the Pupa House to see the life cycle of different insects. If you’re lucky, you can even witness a butterfly breaking out of its cocoon. In addition, you can encounter reptiles and tropical birds, which you can pet and feed.
These are only some of the ideal child-friendly spots you can visit in Singapore. Feel free to search for more to make the most of the holiday with your little one.
