Painful tattoo procedureTattoos are permanent, but some people can’t help but have them removed or altered. Celebrities are not an exception to this kind of struggle. What’s interesting to know is how and why they come up with the decision of doing so.

Layton’s tattoo removal experts share these sordid tattoo affairs below.

Wrong Decisions–in Hindsight

Demi Lovato once opened up that she doesn’t like some of her tattoos. She thinks that the tattoo of a friend’s lips which can be found in her forearm is a spur of the moment and a “stupid” decision.

Pop princess Britney Spears is known to have a Kabbalah tattoo in her neck way back 2008. It was reportedly inked during a difficult time in her life. She had it removed because she claimed that it only made her feel like a hypocrite.

Mark Wahlberg, on the other hand, used to have a Bob Marley tattoo, but later, he took his kids with him to watch the whole process of tattoo removal. He did it to deter his children from having an inked skin of their own.

Consequently, fans wonder why Adam Levine is not in favor of his right shoulder tattoo. Turns out, it is an unruffled Russian heritage symbol. However, he believes it resembles more of a “cauliflower with a sun in the middle.”

Tattoos that Symbolize Failed Relationships

Johnny Depp, in the past, used to have a tattoo “Winona Forever.” This is in accordance with his former relationship with Winona Ryder. However, with their breakup, the tattoo became awkward so he changed to “Wino Forever.” Because no doubt, wine is indeed forever.

Another lost love, Tom Arnold, used to have a tattoo of Roseanne Barr’s face. He had it inked on his chest in an attempt to save their wilting marriage. But in the end, the marriage still ended regardless of what he did. He now considers the tattoo as one of the biggest mistakes of his life.

Whatever these stars’ reason for having a tattoo removal may be, we can never really tell what’s bothering them or what’s making them happy. One thing is for sure, though; tattoo removal is always available.
